#043 The Colors of Fall

Welcome back to The Cabincast, Your Getaway Primer Podcast for those with a passion for cabins, rustic decor, the great outdoors, and nights telling tales around the campfire.


In the 43rd episode, Kristin and Erik share another Cabin Chat! This chat consists of all things fall, including fall activities, colors and memories!


They start off by sharing a favorite spot, the Porcupine Mountains, a great overlook spot with lots of hiking trails to enjoy the changing leaves. Kristin shares one of her favorite fall memories which includes a favorite fall treat, apple cider doughnuts. Speaking of apples, Erik shares some of his own memories growing up on an apple orchard. 


Kristin’s dad is currently riding across the state of Wisconsin with his friends, this story will definitely inspire you to bring out your bike!


Erik shares about a great family-friendly activity in Eagle River called Pirate’s Hideaway. Erik also reads us an old article from Recreation Magazine about a man realizing he can use his car to go to a fishing spot! This vintage article is sure to make you smile!


To conclude, Kristin shares a song recommendation called “Can You Canoe?”  by the Okee Dokee Brothers, a great family friendly listen!
